2020 IEEE 2nd Global Conference on Life Sciences and Technologies

The LifeTech 2020 organizing committee asses the current situation that Kyoto city is safe for participants, and we are planning to proceed with presentation sessions of the conference as scheduled. However, to prevent the coronavirus spreading and reduce the infection risk, some events with the almost attendees getting together in a ceremony hall are canceled. Please confirm the canceled program below.

We understand our attendees have regulations and alerts for travel to Kyoto, Japan, from their countries and affiliations, and also their health concerns.
The LifeTech organizing committee respects any decisions on your attendance and absence for the conference.

If you have any of the following symptoms, please take care of yourself.

• You have had cold symptoms or a fever of 37.5°C or over.
• You have a strong feeling of weariness (fatigue) or shortness of breath (difficulty breathing).

When coming to the conference venue, please wear a mask, and wash your hands frequently to help keep the virus from spreading. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Canceled Events at LifeTech 2020

• March 10: Opening Ceremony, Tutorial by Mr. Imagawa, and Welcome Reception
• March 11: Keynote Speech by Prof. Sugihara, and Award Banquet
• March 12: Award Closing Ceremony

Cancellation policy for LifeTech 2020

1. All the accepted and registered papers will be published in the proceedings of LifeTech2020. The contents of the proceedings will be downloadable. We will inform you how to download them later.
2. All the accepted regular papers will appear in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library as the LifeTech2020 Proceedings. We do not treat them as No-Show papers, even though they are not presented at the conference venue.
3. The registration fees will NOT be refunded.

The receipt from LifeTech 2020 will be sent to the absent after the conference.

Video presentations and remote participation

We are currently preparing an option for video presentations and remote participation for the absent who completed their registration payments. This information has been sent to attendees who completed their registrations by Peatix e-mail, so please confirm it. The presentation guidelines are announced on the presentation page.

On-site Registration is NOT Available

Due to these situations, the on-site registrations, which mean the registrations at the conference venue during the conference, are not open.
If you would like to access the presentation videos and proceedings as the conference attendees, we prefer to make on-line registration by February 29.
